“Did a great job, felt like I knew the shop guys all my life. Bunch of good guys who seemed very knowledgeable.”
What the bay is for
Most of a fleet's week travels well: PMs, brakes, inspections and tires happen at your yard off the service trucks. The bay earns its keep on the rest. Anything that wants a lift, a teardown, or diagnostics that only make sense in a bay comes to Shortie Street, and we'll tell you which side of the wall your job lands on when you call.
- Engine diagnostics and repair, from injector cups to in-frame overhauls
- Aftertreatment and emissions systems, fixed at the cause
- Transmission and clutch, manual, automated, and automatic
- Electrical faults, ECMs, and the wiring behind them
- Driveline, axles, suspension, and wheel-end work that needs the unit apart and clean
If the truck cannot make the trip
We arrange the tow and bill it as part of the repair. One call, one invoice, and you are not standing between a tow company and a shop trying to get a straight answer out of either one.
And the boundary, stated plainly: if it is diesel, we work on it, down to service trucks and one-ton pickups. If it is gas, we are not your shop, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than after you drive over.
