About the shop

Built for fleets that have been burned before

Almost everyone who calls us has a story: the bill that doubled at the counter, the repair that lasted three weeks, the shop that stopped answering. We built this place to be the other thing.

Why the shop exists

Fleets don't usually leave a shop over price. They leave over the surprise: the estimate that grew when nobody was looking, the comeback that got called a new problem, the invoice that didn't match the phone call. Once that happens, every shop gets treated like the one that did it.

ACME Precision Diesel runs on the opposite bet: the diagnosis comes before the invoice, the number you approve is the number you pay, and the work is backed after the truck rolls out. Repeat fleets are the whole business, and nobody comes back to a shop that surprised them.

We're in Greer, S.C., between the dealer you can't get into and the shop you can't trust. That's not an accident. That's the lane.

Where we sit

Faster and fairer than the dealer.More capable than the cheap shop. That's the lane we run in.

What "the other thing" means

Three habits, kept on every job, from a yard PM to an in-frame. They're on the wall in the shop and on your invoice.

01

Told straight

You hear what's wrong before anything gets fixed: scan data, real part names, real numbers. Bad news early beats bad news at the counter.

02

No surprises

Nothing gets repaired that you didn't approve. If we find more mid-job, the wrenches stop and the phone rings before the price changes.

03

Backed work

Repairs are warranted in writing, on the invoice. You don't argue a comeback with us.

"If it comes back, that's ours."

Two ways we work

Same technicians, same standards, two places the work happens.

Your yard

Mobile & fleet service

PMs, DOT inspections, brakes, and the scheduled work that keeps a fleet legal and moving, done from a stocked service truck at your lot, so the trucks don't lose a day driving to us.

Our bays

Shop service

Engine, aftertreatment, electrical, transmission, driveline: the deep diagnostic work that needs the shop's tooling, the lift, and the time to do it right the first time.

The crew

Small on purpose. When you call, you're talking to somebody who can see your truck from the counter, not a call center, not a service chain. Owner, foreman, technicians, and a service writer, all under one roof in Greer.

What we take, and what we don't

Knowing our lane goes for equipment too. Here's the honest boundary, so nobody drives over for nothing.

We work on

  • Class 7 and 8 trucks and tractors, the core of the shop
  • Trailers, lift gates, and medium-duty box trucks
  • Diesel buses, RVs, and heavy equipment
  • Light diesel service trucks
  • One-ton diesel pickups

We don't

  • Gas engines, any size, any make
  • Half-ton pickups and SUVs
  • Passenger cars
  • Work we'd have to learn on your truck. We'll point you to someone who does it every week

"If it is gas, we are not your shop, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than after you drive over."

The scope rule, as we say it at the counter
One shop, one number

Come see how we run

Call with a symptom, a PM schedule, or just a question about whether we're the right shop for your equipment. A person answers, and if we're not the right fit, we'll say so on the phone.
